Evangelizing Oracle APEX in Latin America
Young students from the Computer Systems and Engineering Career at the “Universidad Nacional de la Pampa” in Argentina are studying Oracle APEX together with Professor Carlos Bermúdez and the book by Clarisa Maman Orfali, entitled: “Oracle APEX 5.1”.
Carlos Bermúdez is a Systems Engineer received at the Faculty of Engineering of the “Universidad Nacional de la Pampa” in Argentina and is part of the teaching team of the Database Chair in the careers Systems Engineering and Computer Engineering of this same University, as head of practical work, since 1998.
It was not until 2005 that ORACLE Express began to be used to carry out the practical part of the subject, with the idea of providing students with a cutting-edge tool. Only in this year (2020) the intention is to introduce APEX, to complement the design of the database with a suitable interface.
